@sleepyknight They haven't been living together for a while. She tries to bring up something nostalgic in regard to their earlier recordings and Kiyosumi just no sells it, says it wasn't good and that they can do better with "us four" so for Ushio it feels like she's the odd person out. Especially after watching him have fun playing music with Misaki whereas when it was just her and Kiyosumi he was miserable and combative. She feels left out, left behind and to her it feels like the guy she likes is blowing her off and basically telling her that yeah, everything before (i.e. when it was just the two of us) was bad and it's way better now. Even though he likely didn't mean it like that it's not hard to see why she'd take it like that. Especially given that she's very emotionally driven.

@Suben, I'm not saying that i don't understand where ushio is coming from but i feel like there's also just a huge lack of perspective on her part re: intimacy. ushio's reaction here feels more like something you'd see from a highschooler in their first relationship rather than like, a college graduate who's had previous relationships and understands what boundaries look like. At this point it kind of feels like willful ignorance specifically as it pertains to kiyosumi as a person with separate desires from her and a different understanding of affection which is wild! bc of their shared history and the fact that hes never presented himself as anything other than what he is now. Like to me her reaction reads more as dependency, which is also a major issue in their relationship, and if its to the point that she can't stand to see him make friends beside her and connections beside her, like clearly platonic friends and clearly professional connections, then she should genuinely just break it off with him and do some soul-searching. i think shes a good character and she's consistently written, but i would like to see who she is when she's not latching onto kiyosumi's hangups

honestly at this point im just glad shes decided to go out on her own, its p clear that shes been managing kiyosumi's music career as a crutch for her own unresolved issues and im excited to see her define herself without him

@sleepyknight yaaas. Gurl has maj boundary issues and it'd be great to see how she'll progress from this seperation but it feels like we won't be seeing much of her until this arc with oki-san
