Oh yeah @lightingcloud! I felt the same too! I was thinking to drop this after a few chaps but then it had this Beck feeling and I loved it! Up till Oki appeared and took him in.

@maki-sama this part makes for a perfect redemption arc for MC tho, it'd be sooooo cool to see his heart getting pierced by a new piece of music made so that it's missing only his contribute to be perfect

I don’t care for the dramatic direction this was given. I think it was just vibing before and the new tone never really fit what it had going. It feels like a rehash of other stories compared to the originality of what it had before. Then again, I could see the trouble of keeping everything as it was, since pretty much every conflict had resolved for the mc before this arc.
