I am so ambivalent about this webtoon. It has a ton of skill to it, is in many ways really really good. Except most of that skill, right down to the clever narrative time inversion thing that frames the story, seems to be dedicated to making the whole thing as frustrating as possible. Everything is an exercise in missed opportunities; the author successfully makes you feel like the characters are somehow better than . . . any of their actions when it matters suggest, so that where with dislikeable characters you just don't care, with these, there's always this keen edge of disappointment as the people you're invested in mostly-accidentally fuck each other up.

I'm feeling so bad right now though, they had such a good thing going on in the beginning but lacked in communication... I really felt for the characters.

That said, I would regret it now if I had decided not to read this title for that sole reason. The characters seem more real, as in the decisions that they need to make. Only when you read from the third perspective would you be able to judge the characters critically, and find flaw in what you see, as that might even be the very intention of the artist. If the artist wanted to make characters that were super perceptive and aware, it could be done. But I think it wouldn't feel as real, and it wouldn't say quite the same things as it does now, as it is.
