Well, it's nice that they're seeing each other. But she should really tell him that he doesn't have to give money to spend time with her. The longer it goes on, the more you reinforce in his mind that money is necessary to be someone you like. I guess... this is the beginning of a lot of hardships...

And again, she SHOULDN'T know almost anything about his actual financial circumstances. She heard him say he's poor to the truck driver. Yeah, she basically already knew that. No surprise there. She has no reason to know he puts toys in capsules for hours for money (see my comments on chapter 13).
Honestly, this is making me both pity and dislike Souta. I pity him because I can somewhat understand why he's doing these things, literally using money to buy affection from Haru. I dislike him because what I don't understand is why Haru. Because of her..."kind smile"? That's what he said last chapter. If it were for something like Haru seems more genuine and upfront than his classmate, that would make sense. Something like at least I know that she's doing this for money whereas I'm suspicious about Takasaki's motivations. He thinks none of that. And yeah, I get that he's confused about what he's feeling. But he's going into a situation that literally looks more toxic than almost any of his alternatives.

possessively jealous girl followed him and saw him with Haru, and she's gonna rat on him to his mom. Don't ask me how the mom being a prostitute plot thread is gonna get re-introduced, but that little revelation is gonna be the tipping point for Souta. Knowing him, he'll think it's his fault she's doing it, so he'll run away to lessen the burden on her.

I don't think she caught up with Souta this time, though being ditched surely won't sit well with her, so she'll probably end up following him after school and stumble upon his meetings with Haru in due time. But yeah, she'll definitely tattle and things will go from bad to worse in a snap.

Btw, the worst pain from hell is awaiting Souta. Chapter made me anxious about what consequences will await for him. Bc Yuri ain't gonna stand still. Her tantrums are a thing we already know and she kind of foreshadowed 10 chapters before the "death sentence" he's gonna recieve in the shape of violent bullying.

This feels like the calm before the storm.
On one hand it's good that they were able to resolve this whole subplot of him not visiting her anymore with relative ease but on the other hand there's still some misunderstanding here.
Souta believes Haru is a good person he just thinks she's only putting up with him because of his money. Now we obviously know it's not true but he doesn't and thus that could lead to issues down the line. Haru could resolve this situation by telling him she just likes hanging out with him because he makes her feel comfortable and whatnot but she doesn't want to change the status quo of what they have and potentially make things awkward. I understand her thinking but this will 100% less to some conflict down the line before they resolve it. I'm personally hoping at the end of the manga after they've resolved everything she "buys" his friendship/romance by giving him back the jar of all the money she got from him for the symbolism.
Buy yeah speaking of conflict Souta's kind of fucked now. Yuri is not going to be happy, especially of she stalked him to the bridge like I think she did, and she can make his school life hell. And of course he still has to explain to his mom where the hell he's been all day so I wonder how he'll weasel his way out of that.
Should be fun to see. At least we're caught up with the raws now. Just gotta wait 2ish more weeks for the latest chapter to drop then the TL soon after

Her being honest to him is kind of going to dampen the emotional destruction Souta's going to go through from now on.
