Not a bad end actually. A lot more satisfying than some other series that went on for much longer.

thanks for completing this scanlation
now i am hoping we will get some kind of "what if" ending story where the mom love her son so much - incest style 😁

Holy shit such a good work. I have a mix feeling when this masterpiece only lasted 24 chapters. Anyway it is better than this work became a drama clusterfuck

Read the russian scanlation and realized it missed a page. Just saying.

Reading again, last pages reminded me why i despise and love happy ends at the same time in teenage real life-ish telenovelas like this. It gave me both a warmth and a pain in the heart, bc it reminds me i'm still single and gave me ptsd from a rejection 12 years ago. That didn't happen to me with other romance series since I''s (and i was like... 15 years old when i bingeread that fkin mango... holy shit, 14 years have passed since that).

That doesn't excuse the ending is halfassed in many things (except in the main couple endgame delivering and the Fumi briefing) and skipped a lot of things that ended up hurting it.

However, the omake could fix a bit the whole shit if the author does a simple thing (spoiler marked bc it could happen) ...
the couple sees Yuri leaving from a love hotel (hinting at her turning into the thing she shittalked all the series, a karmic comeuppance), Souta starts to show signs of ptsd, Haru forces him to explain wtf happens with him, as she knows he's easy to read, they talk things out and have lewd and raunchy sex after that (with Souta overdoing it bc he lets out his inner pain while doing it). Fumi spots them leaving from the same love hotel, Souta doesn't know what to say, but his mom only wants to ask for his forgiveness. He still doesn't know what to say or do bc he still has some grips due to that incident, but Haru tells him to accept her apologies, as she sees Fumi's really ashamed of how badly she raised Souta and reminds him he is the cause she could talk things with her family. Souta accepts, and tells her his grandparents were actually worried sick of her.

It's actually a really great ending.
9.5/10.

It would get 10 if the classmate Thot would get a Slap or something like that, i hated her.

I will wait this author next work.

Given the circumstances(the manga got axed, author had to finish in 2 chapters), the author managed to put out a fairly decent ending.

Sure, there are plot lines that weren't tied up, there was a 2 year timeleap and the unconditional happy ending has a bit different tone then the rest of the manga, but it's still much better than some other endings and certainly could have been much worse.

Pretty good read overall, sad that it got axed. Hopefully the next work of the author will get a better reception amongst Japanese readers.

I felt like this was hella rushed ending, but it was aight. I wanted a redemption for the classmate girl where she becomes good and reflects on her actions. Also the mom deserved justice, I wanted to see a happy ending with her and the son, I mean shes worked as a prostitute all for him since he was born even though their poor she tryed her best for him and gave him all the love she could. Anyone would break under the amount of pressure she was going through and how she hated being a prostitute. I wanted to see the mum retired at home while the son goes off to work :)

@ScrewYouTakenUsername Dec. 25th. It's on the last page before GuitarLegend's retirement from Akatsuki announcement.

I fear it's gonna be H stuff instead of expanded endings. However, it can be worth the wait if the omake has Yuri becoming the thing she hates the most as a karmic comeuppance. .

BTW, if you wonder why Souta is with his grandparents, it's not bc Fumi happily told him, but bc the japanese cops' job in these situations is track down some alive relatives that can take care of the victim.
