I really hope he's there to just tell her to stop (and cherry on top if he tells Rina about it himself afterwards). But with the other girl seeing it, it seems like there's setup for either her resolving a new fight later down the line by telling Rina what happened, or worse yet her telling Rina causes the next fight.
I know they'll resolve this issue sooner or later and sometimes you just gotta watch the characters make mistakes before they grow, but you also can't help but root for them to get it right.

Knowing this author, they might end up breaking up tbh. In their other manhwa, a few of the pairs ended up separating. Funnily enough, his ex is the MC of that manhwa, and in the end she
