for those wandering the reason blue is for boys pink for girls is because ww2 as before this time die was too expensive so only rich people could afford because of that nobles created a double standard that pink was masculine because it was a brighter red and blue was feminine because it reminds wet stuff . but because the war efforts of ww2 dyes got extremely cheaper and people just flocked to the colors they most like and surprisingly majority of boys liked blue and majority of the girls liked pink and that turned into a standard
