Hello! So I have physical volumes of Kaze Hikaru (in indonesia translation) from 1-32 and would really love to translate this to English!!
I don't know anything about scanlations unfortunately ;-;

There are a bunch of guides on scanlation that are more in depth, but I can give you a condensed version.
For starters, find a decent scanner. Also, don't get to attatched to your physical books, because you will literally have to tear them apart for scanning.
Second, get a photo editing software. I recommend Photoshop or GIMP. This will help you clean up your scans and edit them.
Next find a font. If you want a basic font, then use CCWildWords.

Lastly, I don't want to burst your bubble, but you might want to find a different manga to translate. Kaze Hikaru is already officially translated in English, and it's against scanlation ettiquette to translate an already licensed series.

Again, there's so much to go over, so treat what I say as a starting point.
