Cannot hide uploads when there is no group.

As the title says, you cannot hide uploads when there is no group. Normally you'd access the group and block seeing uploads there, but if they just upload chapters without having a group, you can't do this, at least that I can find. Is there any workaround, or is this on the slate to be fixed sometime?

In that case you can use Uploader Block (literally just below) and add the users you want to blacklist, you won't see anything else from them again. An user can be uploading for more than one group, so double-check first you definitely don't want to see anything from them.

You say it's "literally just below" but where is that? For a group block you click the group, then click block, and you don't see their uploads. I don't want to block the individual because I still want to see their forum posts, only their uploads. Or is that block just for uploads? I've never seen a "uploader block" list before, so if that's what you mean, please confirm.

The "block" on the main site is only in relation to seeing their uploads, has no relation to the forum, and you'll see the upload block list just below the group block in the settings

Follow the instructions: click on the cat (your profile) top right of the main site -> Choose "Settings" -> Either click on "Block" or scroll down until it shows the options -> Below "Content Filter" there's "Group Block" and "Uploader Block" with a description of each field -> Click on "Edit Blacklist" and type the name of the group or the user until it shows up, then choose it and later click on "Save Changes" before leaving your profile. You can add several groups/users (uploaders) and save all changes at the end, the current limit for both is 25 items so you can hide a lot of content. Once you're at it, revise all your Profile Settings to get the most of the site.

Yeah, I've never done it that way; I've always accessed blocking by selecting the group from the upload directly, since the group name is a selectable link to the group page. Never even knew about this section because it wasn't there when I made my account years ago, or when I last updated it for the current iteration of Mangadex (at least that I can recall). Thank you for pointing it out to me!

I was just always leery of blocking individuals because of what I said above and how most "no group" releases were really only one or two one-offs and then never again; this is the first time I've encountered a persistent "no group" poster who I don't want to see constant releases from.
