Can't open mangadex without using VPN

So, I live in the Philippines and I've been reading mangas and webtoons here for almost a year now but for some reason- the past few days, I can't open the website. I use to not use any vpn to enter Mangadex and just recently, whenever I try- the site just goes take an extremely long time to load. Just going through the home page takes a lot of time, more than a few minutes and even then it still won't load everything. I was told that it was because of cache and cookies so I've deleted them every single day since last week but the site still load so slow. Right now I'm using a VPN connected to Singapore and yet it works perfectly. So I'm just wondering if anyone is dealing stuff like this too? I don't mind using VPN but I'd rather not since where I live takes an awful long time to connect with a VPN as well. I'm not sure what to do about this-

Maybe try a different browser and see if that works. If another browser works fine then clear all data and disable extensions on your preferred browser, or just uninstall and reinstall it.

SEA generally has problems due to poor connectivity there (Im not sure how the MD!Home is working for that region, but the CDN didnt have servers in that region)

I'm using the default browser for my phone which is the Samsung Internet browser. I tried opening the site on my laptop with google chrome but that too resulted in the same infinite loading I've been experiencing (

If it's extremely slow but still loading I'm not really sure what to do, that sounds like a poor connection to whatever is hosting mangadex.

If it's not loading at all without a VPN it could have been blocked in your country. It's happened to a lot of websites like mangadex where I live, they stop loading and eventually display a message saying it's been blocked by my government.

Could be that your IP was temporarily blocked for refreshing pages too quickly. It's happened to me before.
