Can't remember a manga

A scene from a series drifted through my head the other day, and now I'm hunting for it. I think it was a fantasy series, but there's a chance I'm mistaken. The scene I remember is this: the MC is accepted into a position, I believe he's now a part of nobility or maybe a culture. He is told that now he can "chose a bride" but "you already have one in mind". This leads to a confrontation with the FL, where she questions if she's really the one he wants to pick, but he reassures her that she is.

That scene is lodged into my brain. Help. lol.
