disappointing outcome. Nice if he was cool headed enough to back out and return, but it was predictable by his personality that he would try. should def have left when second showed up, but with adrenaline and have goal so close i can understand the hesitation to give up then (sorta sunk cost fallacy).
I don't know why him being saved gives bad taste in mouth. Maybe bc i dislike mc and don't think he is worth saving and should die.
