This is an accurate depiction of an egotistical 15 year old boy on the MR. BONES' WILD RIDE of South Korean socioeconomic status.
He does dumb shit. He contradicts himself, his principles (when he remembers them) and has bad habits. He's also pretty capable by himself, and his powers only help that. He stands up to people who fuck with him, but by that same rule will also threaten to make his landlord piss his pants, and after realizing what he said (and the immediate eviction he faces), will beg for forgiveness. He's great at school, but doesn't pick up on social cues very well (or to be more accurate, completely disregards them in favour of his own wishful thinking) and has an attention complex coupled with an inferiority complex that makes him do even dumber shit than before. He's able to follow the rules, but will immediately go around them if there's an opportunity for personal profit. He's just smart enough to not realize he's an idiot.
I don't know how this is going to go, but it's giving me the same vibe as FKMT's Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa, of protagonists that are capable, but want things they don't understand, moths to the flame of the societal ideal of success.
