I know it's part of the 'moefication' but seeing the title be 'breast tumors' is such a cognitive dissonance-gut punch, good thing the owners care b/c i can imagine there being parents out there that 'cave in' to giving their kid a pet but not bothering to do vet checkups let alone treatments (although these days there are some ppl asking for small donations here and there for vet bills but idk how much that helps unless you're already notable online or get boosted by some kinda pet help service)

Hm, wonder if some kinda spinoff game would be made, i vaguely remember there being an osmosis jones one (looking it up there is one, not the cat specific one but just overall lol which i guess isn't surprising given the success of the 'main' story and all the spinoffs)

Comparatively, that's still pretty cheap all things considered...

I assume that's for a human (hopefully), and while cats are deserving of good treatment too, it's understandable that treatment for people would be a lot more , although that jump in treatment is wild unless it's really bad/aggressive or not noticed til too late (but yeah, USA does have some bs prices, i wouldnt' be surprised if it was artificially inflated to get as much money as possible)

I believe the US cost for cat cancer surgery ranges from $4000 to $8000, but I was quoted $10,000 per day once just for a ER vet stay for my cat with pneumonia. So... it varies.
But then again, there's a lot of abuse in the American veterinary industry too.
