It's almost hilarious how bent out of shape some people-who-shall-not-be-named get over such a simple, enjoyable story. And I bet they'd call others "snowflakes". Projection much? Hah

The unattractive one in this chapter is a boy. He's kinda bad at everything. Which is actually quite common for this manga's boys, and may be a bigger indicator of the author's prejudice.
I think at this point, the only guys shown from the good side are the quick-thinking elder in the false gods of the mermaids story; and the robot who fought fungus aliens.
And maybe that special agent who used to be a disciple at karate dojo.
