I love this manga.

There are 13 chapters at the moment of writing.
Barely anything written down nor established lore and already "awful writing". Peak stupidity. Like reading 5 pages into a book and said it's a bad one.
havnt read it yet so i cant comment on it being "good" or "bad" but your analogy is terrible. 13 chapters is not like reading 5 pages into a book when EACH BOOK is 4 ch long. if you bought the first book and thought it shit you likely wouldnt buy the 2nd and and beyond. again im not here to hate on this manga im here to hate on your analogy

Kool so far, Vinland saga meets Berserk. Fun fact, the author was a assistant of Tatsuki Fujimoto who made Chainsaw Man.

Great title.
The art style is distinctive, with its own unique charm. Occasionally, there are minor issues with anatomy (for instance, in the scene where the seer reports to the king; the sorceress in the habit at the table has unnaturally large hands in one frame).

The story is full of drama, and the characters are well-developed, which makes me even more anxious about the upcoming chapters. I have a gut feeling that Titi will be murdered (though probably not Julian), and this will serve as the catalyst for Diana’s dark, alternate personality to awaken.

It’s a classic case of a self-fulfilling prophecy – if the seer had heeded her king’s orders and stopped pursuing them, Diana likely wouldn’t have awakened or sought revenge on the king. Why him? Well, I’d bet anything that he’ll be directly blamed (order) for Titi’s death, with the sorceresses manipulating the situation to channel Diana’s despair in a way that aligns with their agenda. If I remember correctly, there’s a glimpse of the future where Diana looks upon a burning city, accompanied by figures who resemble the sorceresses (at least one of them).

Narratively, this might be a strong move, but I’d prefer it if, despite the odds, Titi, Julian, and Diana found happiness in the end.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks the king’s royal guard design reminds them of Berserk?

Eu gosto bastante.

“It’s only natural to care for children and babies” ugh I wanted to like this so bad. The art is stunning but the parenthood plot line is so thick I can’t see anything else. Idk call me unnatural then because I immediately stopped reading after this, I can’t seem to care

I don't get what the fuck these naysayers on this page are on about?

Chapter 14 at the time of the writting and holy shit.

Great pacing on the first chapter. Made me care about the characters right then and there.

Next part, lots of proper build up, strong climax, building up a bit on the reality our protagonist lives in.

The one after that, further twist on his reality, and is the one currently unfolding.

But all in all? It's fucking terrific. I appreciate having a clearly dark fantasy with a protagonist who's actually a good person striving to do his best, and not excusing himself on "This world is terrible and I need to do what I must"

No, no. The world sucks, people can be shitty, and hell, fates decided that the underlining fabric of reality seem to HATE our protagonist and his surrogate daughter. And despite all that? "I'm here because people tried to protect me, I'm here because I was given love. And I have someone to protect, and who needs to be loved. And that's why I must strive to do good"

And this ain't shonen power of friendship and that bullshit. No. This is about the indomitable human spirit, and how kindness is inherent to it.

Anyone upset or who finds that "bad writting" can get the asses and their edgelord bingo card fucking checked.

I can only hope this is sucessfull and that the author can expand on all the glorious details full on, because the little tid bits of world building he's dropping here and there are promissing, and I want the full banquet.

Why are so many people gassing this up? The art of monsters can be incredible but the writing is both rushed and trite. The art of humans is strangely inconsistent, especially faces and arms. Like do I have to delude myself into liking it or is this an issue of bad translation?

It is a shame we have no discussion on this manga since nobody bothers to read the "official" version and just use other sites which aren't time gated.

I am just plain happy this manga gets appreciated. All grit like "what do those muddy eyes see... Highserk War" and that Trumpet tree boy manga.
