Oh noooo. That's a great match-up and all but that means that Adonis's next opponent is that poor "gets his spotlight stolen by an Emperor's assassin" Egyptian. I would be surprised if he manages to do anything to him. After that he is fighting a "half-dead" Emden. Emden beating him would be beyond unexpected. I mean, Cestvs had an easy first fight too in terms of sustained damage but by the looks of it Adonis is getting most likely one hard fight while Cestvs gets 2 superhumans after the scrawny Phantom.

yeah, this means we know the rest of the brackets. I hope Kamose can show off a little since he was basically skipped over before, but Adonis seems destined for the finals. It's either him or Emden, and if the latter were to make it that far this would be HIS story, not Cestvs's.

I kinda want to see Loki win, just because the "pure dumb power" types don't often do as well as they should in these sorts of manga, but then I really don't know how on earth Cestvs would manage to beat him.

I think Cestvs has the best chance of beating him, since he's the most agile (maybe Adonis aside). Someone as large as Loki would expend a tremendous amount of stamina when his powerful punches miss, as missing is FAR more tiring than hitting is. Sure, he's a superhuman lumberjack, but a lumberjack doesn't miss the tree, so it's not a strain he'll be used to. And Cestvs has powerful special attacks that could bring down even bring down even a giant like Loki.
I think Kamose will win, though. He's a boxer, and we've already had "David (a Jew) and Goliath" reference as foreshadowing. He has a much more compelling theme as well, that of thoughtfulness and honour in the face of his rash, thoughtless, opportunistic "comrades." His later defeat will be a win for him and his people due to the way he handles it, I imagine.
