Pochita has continuously tried to protect Denji from his own traumatic memories by trying to stop him from facing them altogether. Before, it was with his father's death. After that, it was with losing Aki and Power, along with everyone he knew in Public Safety, Makima included. Pochita doesn't understand that Denji needs to grieve and face reality. But after hearing Asa's words, he's realizing he needs to let Denji process it all.

Its been stated both influence each other, so Asas emotions made Yoru also like Denji.
