This chapter brought something really good to the table. Yes, people don't wanna age, but it's a smart move to get rid of one of the most common causes of death: aging and the issues that come with it. This way, it wouldn't be perfect, but humanity would have an extra layer of protection against death demon.

Death may have an insta-kill power to clap humanity but we won't talk about it...

Nah, aside from obvious long-term issues like overpopulation and generational power imbalance, they're doing this out of fear of death in the first place so they'd likely only be making the Death Devil stronger.

Themes such as loss and sacrifice being related to the Age devil makes perfect sense imo. It's kind of like how because chainsaws were originally devised as a birthing aid, chainsawman is able to eat devils out of existence (un-birthing them) look up chainsawman unbirth to learn more.

it's too suspicious that he had to choose the liver. People can regenerate livers in a few months depending on the extent of the damage... so I don't know, it looks like we won't be getting rid of it anytime soon.

I think the mangaka is hinting that chiansawman will be the one facing death since he can't die, he can be stopped momentarily but the moment he gets "fuel" and someone pulls his starter he can keep going forever.
