Once again reminded that Fujimoto is a beast when it comes to depicting heavy impacts and giant scale: despite having a sketchy, simple-inked artstyle, I can follow the action easily and feel the
whoomp every time Denji gets smacked around by some new horror. I adore Tsutomu Nihei, who also has a very scratchy visual style, but his action scenes can get a bit hard to follow or bleed into the background when against one of his more monumental settings.
My principal complaint for CSM Part 2 has been that the action is more muted vs Part 1, so chapters like this are exactly what the doctor ordered
