I took the tripping as the inability to accept happiness. Most anytime in past frames of her being clumsy or falling is usually around those that are happy or about to partake in something that is happy. I feel as though, her tripping and feeling happy about her dad dying but also guilty about it is what makes her clumsy. Subconciously not allowing her to feel happiness completely due to her guilt.

She tripped when her dad was dying, and later on when her mother was chased by a devil, so I think it's a stretch to say it's always in happy circumstances. I don't think she was exactly happy the man was dying, more like relieved? He was still her dad and he got killed protecting her.

He's a good person. He is unmoral in some aspects but that is a reflection of his traumatic childhood and manipulations from other people, but deep down he doesn't want to cause any harm to others, he just want to live his life in peace and be loved.

Can I just say chapter titles have been on fire lately. "Two good people" gave me a good chuckle

And here I was thinking that it was kinda weird that Asa's mother asked her to call the demon hunters instead of an ambulance, then a few more panels and it suddenly made sense. So, maybe Asa perfectly understood her mother's intentions and tripped not just hoping that his father might bleed out but very deliberately giving her enough time to do what she clearly understood she was about to do. If that's correct, she's still lying to herself and Denji

That said, Makima assumed that the yakuza made it up to look like a suicide bc they had the motives to, but in the new chapter, Denji seems to be admitting that he's the one to have faked the suicide.

He probably just meant he took part in the cover-up, I doubt a kid could do it himself. Knowing Makima, she used a devil power of some sort to get the truth out of the yakuza before they got zombified.
