Damn. Denji is missing one of his balls. At least Power is alive! Sad about Asa though, my boy is never going to get laid....

MAPPA would be better off doing fans a favor by either significantly changing most of Part 2 or simply not adapting it at all. There is still a remote chance of a reverse 'Tokyo Ghoul effect,' where the anime ends up being much better than the original manga

If this is it, it's pretty lame. Part 1 was good, but part 2 feels like nothing ever happened, a bunch of plots/characters being introduced with no real significant role and is forgotten half-way through, overloaded on direction, no clear goal, no real twist, no big reveal, no plot convergence, just a big mess.

Part 1: 7/10
Part 2: 2/10
Pretty disappointing compares to Fire Punch :haa:

I want to eat Fujimoto, chew every inch of his being, digest him, and shit him out in a slightly pasty consistency—just enough to scoop with a spoon and blend with some avocado and milk, so that everything is filtered through my kidneys and comes out in my urine, all just so he can feel a tiny fraction of how he made me feel with this ending

Whattttt the hell. This feels like an AXE ENDING??? Why fujimotors are you ending one of the most successful current mangas like THIS???

What is happening

AoT, Oshi no Ko, Kaguya-sama, and now Chainsawman???? What are with these terrible endings?? Like, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, etc. I feel like we’re in the era of slop?????
Pretty sure the author didnt want to make a part two but was pushed to do it because of how popular if is. You can see him kinda slog through it around the end

This chapter is an ELDV and Denji is reconciling the deaths of his loved ones in his brain before he passes. That’s my headcanon and I’m sticking with it. Still dogshit, part 2 was always a mess. Peace.

The story should have, and very obviously was going to, end with part one. The global threat eliminated and Denji having a Nayuta to give his life purpose and direction. But this was too popular to end there, and so, here we are. If I do recommend this to people in the future, it'll be with the caveat that they shouldn't read part two. It doesn't add anything of value to the story in the long run.

What a cop-out of an ending this series was already on a steady decline, and this unearned payoff of an ending makes it worse. What a waste of series and a pointless sequel.
I wouldn't call this an unearned payoff. It's not really a payoff at all. It comes across like Fujimoto just wanted to stop writing it and didn't really care how it should end.
