Change Steam Game Icon Button?

I finally bought a game on Steam
Shadow of Mordor + War
I'm using a PS3 controller, but the games uses ABXY buttons in the game
Is there a way/mod to change it?

I remember watching video on youtube on how to change it, at that time, I didn't think it was important at that time because I didn't have a PS3 controller
I can't find the video anymore
It was something like
"The correct way to change button icons/mapping"
or something like that
