First of all, harem by definition, IS A TYPE OF POLYGAMY.

Specifically, it's Polygyny which is one man that has multiple wives. (polygamy is actually unisex, and just means multiple marriages on any side, although it is commonly used in place of harem, but that is not correct use per it's scientific definition).

So when something has the harem tag... BY FKN DEFINITION! MC is supposed to be with multiple women... if he isn't and it's just multiple love interests.. then that is NOT HAREM, that's just a dude who has options.

Also, as for tagging, it's a mix of both to be completely fair.
