Chapters disappearing and reappearing, becoming unread then read again on "Follows" page

I just noticed this starting to happen in the last day or two. I always have a tab of the follows page open to catch new chapter uploads. Yesterday, I noticed two chapters uploaded for different manga. I clicked and read them, then refreshed my follows page, and they disappeared. Both chapters were still posted and could be navigated to directly. This morning I opened up follows and read through all the chapters that had been posted over night. They were being marked read automatically as I finished each as normal. On completion of the last chapter in my queue, the last couple chapters in my queue disappeared, and all items I had just read became marked unread. After about 20 or 30 minutes, a refresh finally showed the missing chapters (as well as new chapters), and everything that had been read was marked read again.

This was witnessed on both the mobile and desktop sites. I use Chrome on PC as well as on my android phone.

One of the database slaves is having issues and desyncing.
