Chapters got deleted - did I break some rules?

I'm scanlating a manga called Chikin, a delinquent manga whose mangaka is a very very huge iDOLM@STER fan and inserts iM@S jokes all over the chapters. Starting from Volume 23 I started uploading two versions of each chapter, one that just translates the manga as is (example here) and one that explains all the references as they appear (example here). I also uploaded them under two different groups so that a marathon reader in the future could keep reading one version without switching over to the other version unnecessarily.

I noticed just now the versions with the references got deleted. I want to ask if I was breaking any rules with how I scanlated these chapters (to my knowledge I haven't broken any rule in the Site Rules page), and if the reference chapters cannot be restored. I can always explain the references in TL notes at the end of each chapter if that's the case, but I'd still like to know why they were deleted.

If all the removed chapters fully looked like the second example, yes, that is not allowed as it would fall under "extraneous content" and needs to be placed either at the beginning or end of an actual chapter.

As Roler said, your chapters have been removed under rule 3.2.7:

All content that isn't strictly part of the original scanlated chapter is considered "extraneous". Examples of this include credits pages, recruitment notices, discussion, fan-colored chapter pages, and other fan art. Extraneous content is generally allowed, but must be placed either at the beginning or the end of the release.

Due to the nature of the rule, you have been stripped of your upload privileges, and because the content of the chapters you uploaded, we will not be restoring your chapters. We can, however, restore your uploading privileges if you agree to re-read our rules and acknowledge that any subsequent violation like this will result in the permanent removal of your upload privileges.
