Chapters jump languages

Recently I started having an issue where if I was reading the most recent chapter and clicked next, instead of going back to the chapter list page it instead jumps to a chapter in a completely different language. I only have english language chapters visible in the first place and I dont even recognize what language it jumps too.
As of today, the problem has gotten worse: no matter what chapter I'm reading, instead of continuing to the next chapter in the language (which is available) it always jumps to some other language. This is also screwing up the "chapter already read" symbol in the chapter list, they aren't being marked as read.

I'm not new lol I've had other languages hidden for years.

No, that's a new implemented feature in the reader settings. You may have turned it on without realizing it.
