This morning, May 14th, I was reading Shangri-la Frontier, and I stopped at chapter 168. However, now when I went to continue, the chapters had disappeared, now there are only a few on the main page of the manga, which are:

  • Ch. 216 to 220 in Portuguese (Br) and Spanish (LATAM);
  • Ch. 175 to 187 in Vietnamese;
  • Ch. 1 to 3 in English
And this is the link to the last chapter I read this morning, Ch. 167, that was in my history:

https://mangadex.org/chapter/3a657a47-f152-44e2-8aca-8272374068ee/16

But i have on my history links of each page since Ch. 125, which is where I started, but any of this pages are showing now, only the ones I listed above.

You should drop any titles that are licensed really.
Would have agreed if the official translation quality were good, and the series were simulpub.

Many official translations have a lot of translations errors, and almost no easy way to get the publisher to get those errors rectified.

There are also official translations which are quite far compared to whats currently out in Japan (because these series don't have any simulpub)

You should drop any titles that are licensed really, but the other ones you can probably upload to batoto.
None of them were licensed, and Shinya Shokudou has been this way for maybe almost a decade or more. It's staggering how they'd also target mangas like this when they don't even have any plans of releasing it to the west.

What I don't get it why some manga that was hit, still have chapters posted in the last month up.
The takedown was not planned the day before yesterday, definitely this was reviewed in a period of one or more months and when they were prepared then sent the list with what was discovered at the time, so probably they stopped around the beginning of April, now if the takedown was already in the know before days ago or not unsure

So what is the best method for mass downloading the mangas that still remain on this site? HakuNeko?

What an absolute fool I was thinking that I was fine not archiving the stuff I read on MangaDex...
I think hakuneko works, but there are probably better alternatives.
Still use hakuneko myself though, even though it’s bloatware abandonware.
