I was thinking more femme fatale for the 'action movie' stuff, but I guess in Japan they're more likely to use female assassins and such.
Also... there's something subtly lewd about that children's song... mayo and salt and sugar... Maybe it's more of a cultural thing, but I feel like there's one of those subtle adult jokes meant to go over kids' heads, like something having to do with semen.
Also... I think it's important to note that, since males tend to be more emotionally sensitive in this world, she's probably going to have a much better time of finding a guy that'll treat her right when she's actually trying to date someone. Like, they'll actually both want romance more than sex, more than likely. Been thinking it'd be somewhat pleasant in that regard for awhile, but this chapter kind of highlighted it with the well-mannered samurai boys, and prior chapters got me chatting away in response to others more than the comic itself.
Also... I didn't notice it with the older comic so much, but Kawashima's hair from behind kind of looks like the head of a penis. It was particularly noticeable in the last chapter, I think, when her hair above where it ties off was just over the edge of one of the comic frames. Kind of amusing, to me.
... Oh, and I guess the samurai guy thing kind of makes my idea of warrior roles being reversed, too, in order to protect the 'more sensitive' males was not thought of by the author, huh?
