I did some digging and I’m pretty sure chpt 56 will indeed be the final for this series.

That is not what completed means.

The Completed status means that the series was regularly resolved to a finale and is officially finished by the publisher.

It is not a Manga Dex indicator for a series being declared as completed by a translator or anything similar to that.

There are series here on this site, that have the completed status(so have finished their official publication) since before the year 2000 and are just now getting fan translations.

What ElectroSlam was lamenting, was the fact, that even though translations have picked up again, there are barely any chapters left to translate, therefore marking a soon end to this series.(With their second comment detailing that this series will be wrapped up in Manga form in just 13 chapters apparently)
