More than overall drop in quality, it feels more like these last few missions are a far cry from how the story used to be
As I said multiple times in a couple of last volumes, today we have Luxia almost always in a "weaker position", with the villains being able to count of mystical powers while she has just rattie (and in some occasions, not even him).
And sadly, we're quite afar from when Luxia "just" outsmarted cheaters/scum and served them what they deserve

Again, as I already said, I keep reading PRAE/CMMD because I'm invested in Zero's story, hoping every volume/arc for this part of the story to progress a bit....but I always get cucked maaaan .....it's always delulu scum and never Zero

I'm wondering why xia hasn't been incapacitated. No one is tied up and she doesn't have a gun, just put her in a choke hold and tell her fanatic orphans that she will die if they don't let them go. If theyre not mind controlled and simply devoted to her they shouldnt put her at risk. She can't mind control either of the parents anymore iirc.

But instead I expect the back wall of the house to fall away and the camera crew to be revealed, or a sniper to take her out, or a magical portal to appear.

To your point:
1. Two words: "kill yourself" from the evil FL is all it takes to get the MC SLX to unalive herself,
2. She can mind control her parents too since she has never used her ability on them.

If the FL was in any way realistic everyone would've died already and she would've won, instead she can't help but do her cliche villain monologue she learned from the Shounen anime/manga villain or a Saturday morning kids cartoon Villain Playbook. Well PRAE is already kind of a cartoon in the first place with how even young kids of all ages can follow the simplistic story and cartoon logic, so it is staying on brand with what we've already grown familiar with.
