Okay, I'm going to say this because I love and care about the story of this manga. But they can't criticize characters, thinking they could easily fool Su Luxia by standing still and acting like a mannequin, then turn around and have Luxia just wear a superhero eye mask and have the characters act like they don't recognize her. At least, use the iron mask as it has connotations on its history of mysterious royalty secrets.

Yes that mask sure hides her face, who can it be?

Or...

OR....

You are all missing the point and this is a poorly written novel that she travels to and that perception is not in the highest order for any of these characters. You know, like she always did, in chapter one.

Its like the previous arcs didn't exemplify just how shoddy the novels/tv shows/alternate realities that she traverses to correct the script.

It's a good thing these people don't demand answers to inconvenient questions like:
  • How do you intend to slay the dragon?
  • Why do you want the consul position?
  • Are you single?
  • How do you know where the dragon's treasure is?
  • Are you going to carry all the treasures back yourself?
  • Who exactly are you (and why do you look familiar)?
I know "why" they don't, but still.

I would have at least expected them to ask how she plans on killing it. They're obviously looking down on her for being a low-born woman, so it would only be natural for them to want to know why she feels so confident she can kill the dragon when the kingdom's greatest heroes supposedly couldn't.

this is a poorly written novel
It's not a poorly written novel anymore, it's an actual world that formed around the novel and filled in the gap 'logically', which is why the MC and her love interest are now people who don't flinch at burning a pregnant woman to death when the novel just said the wife situation was dealt with offscreen.

Hmm this new setting is a breath of fresh air, and the meta-narrative is resting (because she completed multiple missions offscreen).

Not sure how I feel about alt-history mythology... but this comic has always flagrantly disregarded anything that gets in its way.

I feel like the severe chauvinism is gonna end up being grating, hopefully it can be tamped down with her holodragon kill.
