@Sillver The general feeling I've seen in comments is that readers think the MC is a dumbass for the reasons the woman from the cafe explained. He's never had to work for anything in his life, and that very clearly shows in his personality. Even though we, as readers, already know that, some readers still really dislike him.

Glad to see this picked up, been waiting for a long time. It's interesting to see a plot where the person's superpowered potential is limited by their personality.

@comeonnow well tbf, you're not supposed to "like" him for all these reasons, and matter of fact I don't like because of how much a dumbass & jerk he is. but that just goes to show that he's quite well written.

@comeonnow Issue isn't that he has flaws told before in this story, issue is that he can't learn. Had gambling incident and now he is exact same situation. Anyone would be cautious for at least 3, maybe 5 times before going to same routine (if not change entirely).
With his experience (gangs, police, assassins and most likely even more) anyone would learn to save before going to unknown situation, regardless of laziness or anything similar. That is the real issue.
