Not gonna lie, this series was a bit difficult to get into due to the flashbacks that were timed strange. This paired with some of the translation in earliest chapters being hard to understand in certain circumstances had me a bit confused during points in the story (no thumbs down to the translators - I appreciate you and I could NEVER do your job, you did awesome). This story has a "thriller" feel to it that does not outpace the romance but adds to the lead couples unique dynamic.
Overall, a fantastic series and the first webtoon I stuck with until the end. TBH, I had second male lead syndrome for a portion of this, but by the latter half the ML grew on me a ton and by the end I was cheering for his happiness. The FL can sometimes be a bit thickheaded but not enough to be annoying. Secondary characters are incredible and memorable. The author definitely took some risks with this but they were well done and I felt satisfied at the ending.
