Last arc feels so forced/rushed, so unnatural. The story flow disturbed there. Characters, development, mood, etc gone in an instant.
I think the author want to connect the 'fantasy' side of the reverse age condition with immortality/eternal age in the last arc. Even though, how the story progress is slice of life; reflecting real world setting. So it's a bit weird to me as the reader to suddenly lean to that theme/topic.
Fortunately, everything else from the beginning to 95% until the end is fun to read. The drama is good, not some bullshii indecisive characters.
