@Arcverson for masochist? It's been hinted at the first chapter that the MC is a masochist, though yeah it's a very niche interest in manga and it's not written properly so the axe is very understandable.

He's probably too busy with a real job. I think he said one of his kids was entering kindergarten in an earlier chapter, so he's probably busy raising her.
Ah well, he was a damn good artist. But family comes first.
