Small fun fact for this chapter: this is a bit more obvious in the anime and the official TL, but Fry/Frei’s final words are almost a direct callback to his uncle’s final words to his father back in chapter 36, with Fry inversely mirroring his uncle (and somewhat paralleling his father with their shared faith in the Church/Christianity). It all came full circle in the end, I suppose.
