Up until a few chapters ago I believed Novak was a sharp one, given his skill at catching "heretics". Turns out he had no faith at all and was only driven by a mercenary's mindset to blindly follow orders.
But now history is proving him wrong. And history won't have any place for him... The cruelest part of that is that his daughter and her posthumous book will be remembered.
