I can see stuff happening but I can't understand it quite yet.
Definitely a deep psychological stuff, I need explanation on.

Oshimi stories are truly build to be binged because at this point I have 0 clue of what kind of representation he wants to transmit with this last few chapters...
Yeah, I'm going to have to go back and just read the whole thing again over a couple of days. I've really just been reading it as it comes out for the last what, 6 years?

Kinda feels like the "kill" isn't literal (of course) and more like the killing of their identity in a metaphysical way; she was broken down by the things that happened to her, so her view of the world was skewed in a way.

They're able to connect in a way they wouldn't have if things had gone a different way. Almost like using their trauma to bond.

In addition to this, the whole "when you're killed, destroyed, you end up killing others too" sounds like they're trying to say that damaged people drag people down with them (accidentally or on purpose).

She did what she did because her "sense of self" was "killed", which in turns caused her to "kill" her son.

tldr; generational trauma bad

So did she have any kind of consequence for what she did to her son?

LMFAO

Are you FFR?! Using her "trauma" to bond and "connect in a way others cant"? This is going from "really good psychological thrill" into M Knight Shyamalan tier cringe
Idk its still a good psychological thriller, but it's also a character study, they can go hand in hand, esp when it comes to having chapters like this that are just about the emotions the characters are feeling.

MC got real fucked up because of what his mom did, as a kid he wasn't sure if his mom loved him or not. He thought she did and he suffered because of it. Snuffing out his true emotions for a person that just didn't give a shit about him broke him on the inside.

Trauma bonding exist, and this seems similar to it.

It's not similar, it is textbook trauma bonding. Clearly by means of power imbalance, which is the reason I feel this is so half-baked

MC is empathizing at this rate, which is what you don't do with abusers. So either the author is going through the most destructive path just because (again, just lazy storytelling), or they just read a buzzfeed article about trauma bond and thought it was enough to base a whole series. I get the idea but it still feels conveniently meaningless.

you've clearly never read any other oshimi shuzo works
Yeah and if this is the way this author does their stuff I'm glad.

I love it so much! Contrary to a lot of people here, even if I don't remember every detail I always get mesmerized by the pacing and drawings.
