But what I find kinda ironic is that Sei dropped him almost like a reflex. In that moment in some asinine way he felt like he was protecting his mom because he caused him harm once he started to remember what she did (possibly hoping to cause a regression in him).

But Sei dropping him if anything sped things up. The fall to floor likely reminded him of fall from the Clift. Making him remember quicker.

But that being said I don't think anything will be exposed. Considering the fact that Shigeru still has limited speech, Seiko can play it off as him finally remembering that she's his auntie.

Also I really felt bad for the aunt for her son to have a fall right when he just started recovering probably shocked her to her core and reminded her of worst time of her life.
