I enjoyed reading it despite not being satisfied with the short ending. I already knew chapter 17 was the finale, but not only 9 pages of nothing? I am not asking for over 200 chapters for only a shitty ending or anything. Just a ending that is at least satisfying. Despite being axed too iirc, Shibatte Mitsumete had only 17 chapters with a satisfying conclusion imo.

Chapter 16 feels much more and a better ending, 17 is just a handful of pages that needlessly tell you about their embarassment and that's it. Feels like an extra and just a way to sour things on the last chapter.
I don't get it.

And the 9 rating goes to a 7 after it ends. Not that unusual unfortunately.

Author kept mentioning this was never going to be more than two volumes, there's no axe here. Not everything needs to be 35 volumes with absolutely agonizing pace, you guys.
But at least end it on them buying a truck full of condom boxes and book a 2 week long hotel room till the walls and roof is smeared with their sweat!

It just felt so abrupt. Where's the ceremony? just a few extra pages would've been enough. Plus I'm just sad it's over. :nyoron:

Yeah, the ending doesn't quite land. I actually think the idea for the ending - discussing the future and what they plan to do after graduation - is a good idea, but they don't quite land it.
I think it would have been nice if the last panel was them asking each other what their plans for Christmas was, rather than simply daydreaming about it and avoiding it, as it would have shown a certain amount of development in being honest and forthright with each other.

Anyway, it's a breezy and cute read, if they nailed the ending, I think it'd been perfect for what it is.
Ah well, close, but no cigar. :dogkek:
