It wasn’t perfect by any stretch and this ending was still rushed as hell but at least (in my opinion) they stuck the landing at the end.

Hopefully the mention of a third giant girl means a sequel is happening.

Like we all guessed, it was way too late in the story for the author to do a 180 and finish the manga without the giant girl gimmick at the last second. But honestly, thats kinda frustrating.

She was only big for a year. A single chaotic year in her life just gave her a "limp" for the rest of it. Sure she had fun, she was able to do many good deeds for the people of her city, but that speaks more of character than her 'giant' powers. If she was back to normal size, her life would only have improved. I doubt the author cares about their life beyond this point as much as we do.

Like all the other manga with a gimmick like this, Yume and Chieri will find their happiness despite her condition. And that's how I'll leave this story. Somehow they are happy, the end.

I would have preferred an ending where the giant size was fully embraced rather than handwaved as the result of another "unfulfilled wish", but I'll take what I can get. Hopefully this story inspires other authors to make more giantess stuff, kind of like how Monster Musume inspired a monster girl boom and Onimai inspired a TSF boom. If that happens, we'll probably get something that blows this out of the water. We'd probably need to get this animated to have that kind of boom, though. Fingers crossed!

I'm not a fan of her growing again. They can't live a normal, fulfilling life like that, especially after high school. It's not possible to even kiss again or ever be intimate. They can never have a family. It sucks.

A normal life may be off the table, but a fulfilling one? That shouldn't be hard at all, they'll just have to get creative. Besides, there's enough "normal" out there. There's enough people trying to kill anything that's not "normal" out there. Open your mind and envision the you that's not shit-scared to hit the metaphorical dance floor!
