Arima get married to Yukihira and Miyahara to someone else, things don't work out eventually, divorced. Bit time later they meet up and get married.

Seriously, Yukihira's existence is the only reason why this manga even has a romance tag to begin with.
At the beginning of the manga, it kinda seemed like Miyahara could be more mature than she let on and maybe even gunning for our boy after all, but that was either a misinterpretation on my part or the author changed their mind afterwards and went with the hyper innocent Miyahara instead.

I really noticed it in that extra chapter from Miyahara’s POV, when I realized that she didn’t think about Arima once the entire time. Like if she was interested she would have at least though “wow I wish Arima could see this.” Or “I can’t wait to show Arima”. But she really does just give nothing but platonic vibes about our boy.

Yeah, Miyahara could get more interesting if she had some kind of "awakening" later on in the story, but right now she is basically just a cute, mascot-like character, with no real stake in the romance aspect of the narrative, except making Arima second-guess his feelings every so often.

Listen, I enjoy that Miyahara doesn't seem to have a romantic bone in her body, but you have to also accept that she is fully Arima pilled. Every other second she is either all over him, or pulling him off somewhere.

I’d say it’s less of a sense of romance and more an understanding of inevitability. Like “yeah of course you grow up and get married someday.” I feel like in a talk about romance Miya would be completely out of her depth.

Tbh I think the most likely way this will end is an open ending before any couple is confirmed where the MC just ends up admitting to himself that he also has feelings for Miyahara. The characters are so young that the manga won't go into a serious romance plot and I don't see this going into a timeskip and turning into a highschool manga either. Wouldn't fit the vibe.

I hate how plausible this is lol. It's been so long since I read a romcom where it didn't either end without resolving shit like you described, or end immediately after the characters get together.

I could see this one having a flash-forward in the last chapter or something though.

Well, from the story so far, Arima loves Yuki, Yuki actually likes Arima but doesn’t want to tread on Miyahara, and Miyahara doesn’t seem to have the thought of love in her head at all (we don’t really know yet).

The story will probably either end with Arima changing his mind and confessing to Miyahara (and perform a reverse title drop)… or end with Miyahara realizing her feelings and asking him out instead. A brave ending would be Arima and Yuki getting together and Miyahara still being close to both of them.

Probably no hope for Yuki.

Well, this would be an ending with everyone happy, since at least for now she didn't show any romantic feelings. She even stated "my family and your family"
