I googled it on amazon and you can get Keyboards for less than 100 bucks. Sure its not cheap, but def cheap for a hobby if he plays some months compared to e.g. buying a tennis racket or paying fees for some sports club for some months. E.g. if you pay a monthly fee like 20 bucks youre at 240 after a year.

Sure, if he quits after 3 days its obviously super expensive.

Ugh, sometimes certain stories give me such intense second hand embarrassment, and this one did, I found it hard to read... I wonder why, it's not like I've had a comparable experience?

It's currently such a cute relationship between the three, it'll be kinda sad if the romance does actually start and ruins it.

Imagine it as the middleschool experience of trying something you think its cool and failing misserably.
