Ah, video games. It can really bring people together! Miyahara's so direct with Arima, yet he can't bring himself to understand why. At least Yukihira's a great pal though, and it's interesting seeing her learn more about Miyahara and Arima. Like how they're not that great of a team, because they keep talking over each other!

Fuuka's pretty funny though, she went from being bossy to being utterly charmed by Yukihira. Well, she was looking forward to playing with Miyahara too, I guess. The way she oneshot the team of Miyahara and Arima was a really solid punchline.

Like fellow pervert said, it's from "Ascendce of Bookworm", definitely not the same artist, probably not the same context but after reading mentioned LN the "flower offering" and word "flower" used in the story digs deep into mind, it's just fucked up.

You are saying that like Arima is not just as dumb. He has the most stupid ideas to make Yukihira like him and always acts just barely less childish than Miyahara. He thinks himself "more mature", but when push comes to shove, he chooses to play around. That's exactly why he always ends up closer to Miyahara than Yukihira. And IMO that's one of the most lovely parts of this story.

What else can multiple people play together to have fun? It's either Smash or Mario Kart. A more serious fighting game if you want a more "we compete in games, because we are high school childhood friends" setting.

Actually a pretty good point. POV counts here, plus much of what Yukihira does is in his head too, so we don’t really hear much of her to contrast with what Arima thinks will happen.

Probably a mixture of easy enough to understand for newbies, that can be played by a lot of character at the same time, and it's popularity. Same concept for the times is used Mario Kart.
