Very much appreciate the translations. I'm liking the series a lot. Sequel series can often feel like a big risk, especially nowadays, because it'll tend to de-emphasize older characters you liked, and in cases like this, it's focused on a niche competition/sport, so you'd be afraid that the author might have run out of interesting things to do with it, but neither seems to be a real problem at the moment.

Also one of Chihaya's favorite cards is Nagara... interesting. (I should probably call him Agino, but I haven't quite memorized their names, and it stood out to me).

i wish this series to prosper. i could never praise the author well enough in how she create great characterization. sure the original chihayafuru only got mainstream line of characters. but the story was narrated that it was unique that weirdly didn't get imitated in other mangas that i've read until now. that took skill to get that achievement in my eyes.

but, even after that, the sequel mindblowned me. this introduce a whole lot of weird quirk of characters from the start as the starting main characters. doing this usually is a bad practice since reader would definitely got overwhelmed with new information. too much will never be good that's why there is pacing to dissolving it. and yet i don't care with how others felt i got hooked. this is so nice experience to the point i kept forgetting this is a legacy series. good luck with this series. i wish more chapters got translated too...
