Always appreciate a chapter drop of this. The whole period talk makes me feel like the author is using this manga to talk about (at least partially) other interruptions that players can have that can affect their ability to compete. Nagara having to take care of his sister because he lives in a single-parent household and his father has work that keeps him bust. Chihaya being forced to essentially lie to his parents about his desire to play Karuta. The girl who cares a lot about feng shui, even if it seems ridiculous to the layperson, it clearly has an effect on her. It's interesting that so far none of the members seem to have insecurities about their skill level or ability to continue to improve, they still haven't reached their plateau point.
