Pretty much from the moment that I first saw this series, I was curious to see if Zurikishi would ever do a "Big Gal" to contrast with the "Small Gal", and I'm glad that he did so by making a whole separate character (as opposed to what I was fearing, a non-canon "what if" page with no hope of a follow up, if anything at all). This way, the big and the small can meet - it's probably not likely that they'll wind up being friends, given the genre this is in, but I can dream!

Just out of curiosity, is this new girl referred to as "Dekai Gyaru" in the original script? If it is, then "The Heavy Gal" seems like an odd choice of translation in context, though I don't want to nitpick too much unless you're cool with it.

No, the title is 重いギャル or Omoi Gyaru. Omoi means heavy or, depending on the context, gloomy or depressed. And I don't think she's being depicted as any of those.

I think she is "heavy" in the meaning that she expects a lot from her love interest. Like, they've just met, and she already wants marriage and 5 children.

Yeah, in that case I think "heavy" is the right translation, though now it's Zurikishi's word choice that I find kind of odd.
