Yeah, I never would have thought to read them in that order, this is the worst layout I've seen in awhile. It's made even worse by the fact that it's one panel. How did did it even get this bad? It makes Dresden Codaks layout almost look competent by comparison.

I don't really see the issue with the image you posted. The read order is normal, except for the one bubble in the centre of the page, but even that is a small bubble.
