I've read some shit in my day and kept going to see where things went. Often, I've been pleasantly surprised by the gems hidden within, but this is just 90% bad. The hook of his lost memories has no hope of paying off and while the art is great, it's just not enough to compensate.

It's not even like I have a problem with rape as a plot device. I like reviled series like Redo of Healer because that part makes sense in the context of the story and contributes.

Here, it's almost random and feels insultingly gratuitous.
